Morgan Horbal, BS, LMSW, is a Licensed Master of Social Work with a strong foundation in human services. She holds a B.S. from the University of Delaware and an M.S.W. in Mental Health and Substance Abuse from Southern Connecticut State University.

Morgan's journey began with a series of impactful internships in her undergraduate program at the University of Delaware, providing crucial support to children facing emotion regulation and developmental challenges. She further honed her skills during her graduate school internships included the facilitation of intensive outpatient groups for addiction treatment, contribution to community service outreach and resources and providing group and individual psychotherapy services. 

Morgan’s passion is rooted in direct clinician services focusing on anxiety, depression and self-harm. Morgan is now equipped with a diverse skill set on both micro and macro levels. Morgan uses an eclectic approach, pulling from her experience with strengths-based, cognitive behavioral,  dialectical behavioral and internal family systems therapeutic approaches. She is also certified in play therapy, encouraging a child’s ability to internally validate themselves and work through their struggles in a safe environment. Morgan’s client-centered approach is rooted in empathetic regard and ultimately reflects her belief in the transformative power of therapy and the innate capacity for growth and healing in every individual.
