In 2013, Lydia began her training in Conscious Connected Breathwork and received her certification in 2014 from the New York and Philadelphia Rebirthing Center. She completed her Conscious Connected Breathwork Teacher Training in 2016. Conscious Connected Breathwork is a safe, powerful, and gentle breathing technique that releases stress from the body and increases energy levels. By refocusing attention on the conscious breath and bypassing the rational, analytical mind, clients can uncover and release limiting thought patterns and old ideas that are stored in the body. Lydia utilizes the power of the breath in therapy sessions, individual breathwork sessions, with groups, and she has facilitated multiple workshops including: Connecting with Breath, Connecting with Community; My Body Rocks; Introduction to Conscious Connected Breathwork; and The Big Breathe. She continues to be an active part of the breathwork community by assisting in practitioner trainings, co-managing a breathwork community organization, and pursuing continuing education.
Lydia integrates a variety of tools to help clients close the disconnects between mind, body, and spirit and connect with their true selves as whole and complete human beings. She believes that everyone has the power to heal and believes that each individual has their own unique way of healing.
Lydia has been practicing Transcendental Meditation daily for over 10 years and engages in breathwork practice regularly. She is a lifelong learner and is always learning new ways to help people achieve their highest potential. Lydia spends time at the ocean any chance she gets and is deeply connected to nature. She loves integrating all her practices to create individualized healing plans for all her clients.
